This course presents an in-depth review of the theory and practice of cognitive behavioral therapy. 

Course Outcomes

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the rationale for use of cognitive behavioral interventions;
  • Apply practical skills in cognitive behavioral therapy in individuals under criminal justice supervision;
  • Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy for relapse prevention;
  • Combine cognitive behavioral approaches with other compatible interventions (MI, MET).
