fidelity assessment and maintenance
This course presents a pragmatic review of specific tools needed to assess quality of services and fidelity of implementation. In the process of developing effective reentry treatment and behavioral interventions, agencies must answer four fundamental questions - whom to treat, what to treat, what model to use, and how well do we do it? Even interventions with the best scientific support will not result in the desired outcome if they are not implemented as intended and if there is no mechanism in place to ensure quality and maintain fidelity over time. Traditionally this is the most overlooked area of reentry practices.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Answer four fundamental questions - whom to treat, what to treat, what model to use, and how well do we do it?;
- Understand mechanisms to maintain fidelity and implement them in their services and organizations.
